YuFund

We are extremely grateful to have received funding from generous alumni of the university via YuFund. With this funding, we will be upgrading our Derwent Practice Rooms so that all our members can continue to enjoy them for many years to come! This will include improving the soundproofing between rooms, buying new equipment including drums and amps, and improving our security and booking system.

In the past, we have been lucky enough to benefit from YuFund, allowing us to buy a speaker system which will allow us to host Karaoke and Open Mic nights. We will also be able to lend this equipment out to our members for their own performances, or to go busking in town! The funding will also aid us with other projects later in the year, overall allowing us to continue to 'Make Music Happen' even in these difficult times.
